I am a HUGE fan of Soren Kierkegaard's Law of Delicacy:
"...law of delicacy, according to which an author has a right to use what he himself has experienced, is that he is never to utter verity but is to keep verity for himself and only let it be refracted in various ways."
I am not often public about my inspirations, but I've been challenged to be more open.
So, I shall work toward that goal, retreating every now and again to my dark corner of privacy.

JEANNE's Backdrop What is this?
What was the last book you read, and who was it by?
I tend to read multiple books at once. The last one I finished Slaughterhouse-Five
How was it?
Amazing.
I read it because LOST referenced it in regard to time traveling. It was incredibly interesting. Furthermore, I love the style of the writing.

Why?
Because I pretend I am a Cullen and we're about to play baseball.
I am half kidding.
I am half kidding.
How was it?
It was okay. I figured out the plot halfway through the movie, which usually ends up killing the entertainment for me.
Why?
If you're asking why, it's simply because:
- You haven't had it.
- You didn't grow up in the South
- You're crazy.

Fun stuff! I'm jealous of you girls and your big trip. I haven't settled on an art school yet but the one I'm hoping to attend is in Denver, which would be super exciting... it's just really expensive.
I'll be in town a couple days before y'all leave. Hopefully you don't run into Dwight on his connecting flight to Mordor!

Me? I'm doing okay. I'm trying to find my way to an art school in the fall without going in debt up to my eyeballs! But things are going pretty well.
How about you? Are you in Australia or do you have a while before you leave?

i've been instructed to retract my comment about you being like a vampire. so, since you're from georgia, i'll rephrase: "you don't have to worry about being cool. you have a georgian accent. that's like being a bulldog with trance-like powers."
you can thank mel.

it's a beatles song. john lennon wrote it about his mother, who died when he was young. it's one of my inspirations. apparently kurt cobain played it all throughout the recording of nevermind. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bU8DvOsKlPY

I just left a stupid comment on Melissa's wall, so you'd better write another one to push mine further down. Doesn't help the situation on your profile, though...
